As a Systems Integration profile, we undertake complete turnkey solutions to customers which would include Severs, PCs, Printers, operating systems, data base software, anti-virus software, application software development, scanners, storage boxes, tape library, KVM switches and many innumerable products and solution tailor made to suit specific customer needs. Networking being our core business it would be an integral part of the systems integration.
Servers: The servers offered are from HP or IBM depending on the specification. The servers offered can be tower configuration for tabletop or with rack mounting kit for 19” racks. The servers can be standalone or with redundancy using clustering technology or LAN imaging. The latest addition to the orders executed in server class are at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and Bharat Electronics, Bangalore.
Operating Systems: We supply, install and configure operating systems which can be Windows 2008 or Linux depending on customer requirements.
Database software: We supply, install and configure Oracle database server software. In the recent past we have provided similar installations at BHEL Haridwar, India Sugars and Visakhapatnam steel plant.
MS Exchange: For providing secure communication within the defence establishment we have provided MS exchange software at BEL, Bangalore
KVM switches: In most of the customer locations we have multiple servers to cater for different applications. In the past each server would have been connected to a monitor, keyboard and mouse. Servers are shifted to 19” racks and to reduce the cumbersome installation, maintenance we will install KVM switches. In the recent past we have done KVM installations at National Environment research establishment at Nagpur and L&T Komatsu at Bangalore.
Storage solution: With multiple servers installed at customer location to suit different applications the concept of Direct Attached storage is becoming increasingly complicated. Servers either have more storage space than required or not have adequate headroom. There are two type of storage solutions offered by us depending on the need. It could be Network Attached Storage or Storage Area Network. We have installed NAS box of 6TB at BEL, Bangalore.
Windows Server: For running multiple applications we have provided Windows Server at BEL, Bangalore.
